evenTech Scotland 2008 Highlights Success
evenTech Scotland 2008 (February 20th – 21st, Marriott Hotel, Glasgow) – the entertainment and installation technology showcase for the North of the UK – has received unequivocal support from both manufacturers, regional solution providers, associations and media partners and is now a complete sell out for its doors opening next month.
Gordon Addison, of Fibre Optic Systems states: “The North of the UK deserves its own independent networking forum and evenTech Scotland 2008 has identified this market opportunity and fills the gap.”
He adds: “Fibre Optic Systems recognise the potential that evenTech Scotland 2008 can do for our business in the North and is exhibiting in February in Glasgow.”
It is clear the essence of the show has found its mark, with companies including Goboland, High End Systems, Martin Professional, Zero 88 and Rosco among confirmed exhibitors.
evenTech Scotland is the first of Scattered Media’s portfolio of entertainment and installation technology exhibitions including evenTech Singapore 2008 and evenTech Ireland 2008.
The Scottish event also has the full backing of a number of media partners including InAVate, The Main Event, Night and AV magazines. InAVate’s Dan Jago confirms: “We are pleased to support evenTech Scotland and endorse the growing role played by regionally-focused networking forums. In conjunction with the management’s track-record in launching industry-specific trade shows, evenTech Scotland will help InAVate meet distributors and manufacturers from the North of the UK and importantly more of the region's installers and integrators.”
evenTech Scotland is further endorsed by Andy Lenthall of the Production Services Association (PSA). Lenthall adds: “For the PSA, it's about getting people together under one roof. It's about time something happened in Scotland. The PSA fully supports evenTech Scotland 2008.”
In response, Darren Brechin commented for Scattered Media: “The support we’ve had for the show from exhibitors, associations and the media is really heartening. Our vision of the role of regional networking forums was clear and this support demonstrates it was well-founded. evenTech Scotland will prove beneficial to the North of the UK and is a model we will export to Singapore and Ireland this year.”
