Register Now for InfoComm's AV/IT Integration Course
This course, to be held 19-21 February 2008 at Crestron UK in Cobham, Surrey, provides the tools and techniques required of professionals who need to explain the impact of convergence of audiovisual and information technology to their co-workers and clients, and who make it happen. Although the communication of the big picture and use of correct terminology for the right audience is included, instruction is tailored to the AV and IT learner who prefer technical demonstrations and exercises to reinforce concepts. The course includes a typical project sequence, including: a needs assessment that incorporates the hardware and software involved; construction of a typical network infrastructure according to standardized structured cabling techniques; qualification of cabling with test equipment; building a network and certifying it on the infrastructure; deployment of representative audiovisual equipment on the network; configuration of devices to an operational state.
Classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. daily. Evening study is required. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
