DeSisti Launch De-Lux 6 330W High Efficiency Fluorescent

DeSisti claim their new De-Lux 6 fixture has the highest output per aperture and is the most controllable fluorescent fixture on the market today. The fixtures are extremely versatile and utilise a dual accessory track for loading gel frames and honeycombs. The high efficiency optical system does not require the use of intensifiers, reducing the overall dimensions and weight of the fixture.
The phase control version of the De-Lux is ideal for studios already equipped with dimmers. Built-in ballast dimming technology eliminates the need (and the cost) of a dimmer. The sources are powered on a standard non-dimmed A/C line. They receive a separate signal that can either be an analogue 0 to+10V D.C. for the analogue version or DMX 512 for the DMX version. Therefore it is sufficient to have a lighting console with the relevant output, to control the intensity of the De-Lux.
The high efficiency optical system in the De-Lux unit is based on a design that optimises the reflector. The new system utilises a greater portion of the full lamp emissions, which creates an optical efficiency superior to other makes which have to employ intensifiers to obtain a similar output. Without this need of an intensifier, the user benefits from the fixture's use of a smaller space in the studio, lower total cost and less weight to the supporting structure. 6mm (narrow) and 12mm (medium) honeycombs can be fitted to provide specific beam control.
De-Lux 6 has a lightweight steel housing with low glare epoxy powder coating. It uses six 55W biax lamps (compact fluorescent) rated for 10,000 hours, which are available in 56000K or 32000K with different colour rendering indexes (for instance RGB or Studio-Line). Power consumption is 330W.
De-Lux fixtures are available with either positive lock manual yokes for comfort and ease of operation, or pole operated yokes which can be operated via a lighting pole for panning and tilting of the lights, as well as manually since the mechanical activators are equipped with clutches.
The accessories are secured regardless of the orientation of the fixture. Accessories have been designed for one hand installation.
