evenTech Ireland - a Pivotal Show for Manufacturers and Visitors Alike
In less than one month, EvenTech Ireland (18th - 19th November, 2008 - RDS Dublin, Ireland) - the regional business networking forum serving the entertainment and installation technology markets - opens its doors for the first time in the Republic of Ireland.
Iain McLean, one half of the Scattered Media duo responsible for the successful evenTech model, is very pleased with the year already and is very positive about the Irish event: "The EvenTech brand is just in its first year and already we've had two very successful shows in two very different regions. EvenTech Ireland has been our fastest sell out to date and all exhibitors are very optimistic about the success they will see in Ireland. It's going to be a very pivotal show for EvenTech, the exhibitors and the visitors alike."
At its roots, the evenTech model embraces the individual character of the region in which it is held - offering a unique regional platform where manufacturers and suppliers can not only exhibit and demonstrate the latest industry trends and technologies available locally, but can meet face-to-face with the pivotal, local audience involved in, in this case, Ireland's major entertainment and installation projects and initiatives.
RCF's Phil Price comments: "As a manufacturer, we're primarily supporting our distributor, Sound Production, at the exhibition, providing more detailed product displays from our commercial audio and pro audio product ranges.
"The eventech shows are like a breath of fresh air and have proven their importance and validity to us already in the other regions. There is much more of an emphasis on dealing with locally based companies and so from the manufacturers' point of view - or the distributors of a national line - it's going to give them an opportunity to meet some of the local companies that can actually help them. We're quite privileged because we already have a distributor in Ireland but nevertheless we need to do more work to support them and this is a good way to do it."
Networking and building relations within the Irish region is a key focus of evenTech Ireland. Dublin-based AVL Systems, has built a technology-rich, focal-point bar space, which will not only showcase the latest, innovative technologies and applications for visitors to investigate and examine, but will provide the all-important networking nerve centre, where real contact is made, on local ground, with the system integrators and engineers involved in projects that are actually happening in Ireland.
Exhibitor Ard Soilse's Joe Betts, sees great potential in the show for his company: "As a fast growing Irish business, Ard Soilse is rapidly expanding the products and services it offers, and it is difficult to keep everyone up to date with what we can do - this should provide the opportunity to show our market and potential customers some of what's possible when you work with us.
"We understand this show will prove to be vitally important for the future, as we head into recession, knowing the right price and service are coming hand in hand will be extremely important, and this should provide exhibitors with an opportunity to show their true colours."
Darren Brechin, co-director of Scattered Media - the company behind the evenTech brand - explains: "From our experience of launching and developing the Middle East's and India's most successful shows in this market area, we soon realised that the visitors - the installers and the system integrators - need to be able to quickly and easily access these shows, taking hours rather than days out of their schedules - and actually finding information that is useful to them."
For that reason, the compelling programme of educational seminars that will span both days of evenTech Ireland is a keystone of forum, as it has been in each region. Brechin, believes, "This is a unique opportunity for the region to be educated on its doorstep by industry experts. We've taken full consideration of the needs and interests of visitors from the full extent of the country of Ireland."
