projectiondesign recognised as European Manufacturer of the Year at AV Awards 2008
Norwegian projector manufacturer, projectiondesign was recognised as the European Manufacturer of the Year, for the second year running, at the tenth annual AV Awards, held on 10 October 2008 at the Hilton Park Lane hotel in London, UK.
Sture Berg, director of operations and finance at projectiondesign comments: "Winning this prestigious award for the second time running is a real achievement. It shows that the AV industry recognizes and understands projectiondesign's unique value offering and dedication, both to the channel itself, but more importantly to the users and owners of our products. Without satisfied partners and users, we would have not existed the way that we do."
More than 600 AV industry professionals attended the prestigious black tie AV Awards ceremony. The awards are judged by an independent panel of expert AV professionals and the event is coordinated by the staff at AV Magazine and AV Europe.
The award judging process included the following comments: "projectiondesign has demonstrated how well a projection manufacturer can grow, even if it makes its products in Europe. Features of projectiondesign's developments include the launch of its new WUXGA and avielo home cinema ranges, but has also invested heavily in its Certified Production Specialist (CPS) training and certification programme, in international distribution, roadshows, and its website.... projectiondesign's strong financial performance and focused entry won out... (and) judges highlighted projectiondesign's continued investment and innovation."
