Showsec Awarded for Excellence
Crowd management specialist Showsec was awarded the gold medal for Best Event Security Team for the third consecutive year at the 2008 Security Excellence Awards.
The SEA awards were hosted by Marcus Brigstocke at London's Park Lane Hilton on the 9th October, attended by over 700 of the industry's finest. The award comes after a successful summer for Showsec, deploying their event teams at festivals and concerts, sporting events and venues ranging from arenas and academies to student unions.
Mark Harding, managing director of Showsec said: "We are delighted to have won this award which is a true testament to the high quality, professionalism and consistency of our operational performance. Having also been re-accredited with our Investors in People, our clients are assured of the highest standards in all strands of our product."
In awarding the 1st prize the judges commented on the "excellent working patterns and philosophy behind the company's deserved success."
