Job Title: Bandit UK Business Manager/Human Resources Coordinator

Before Emma Russell took the job with Bandit Lites, she had been working as a temp for several years. Bandit was the first company she interviewed with after making the decision to look for a permanent position. Despite being her first interview, Russell could already tell that she had found just the right place for her. The Bandit family aspect and the personal challenge drew her in and she has never looked back. Below are a few questions we asked to get to know her a little better.

Q. What is your title? Please describe your job responsibilities.

A. I'm the Business Manager/ Human Resources at Bandit's UK location. I am responsible for the UK accounts and human resources.

Q. What is a favorite memory from working at Bandit Lites?

A. In the short time I have worked for Bandit, I would have to say my favorite memory would have to be my trip over to the U.S. operation in Nashville, TN for the AGM last January. It was really nice to go over and meet all the people I speak to daily through IM or via email and also to see how they do things over there on such a larger scale. It was a great chance to see what we aspire to be here in the UK. I also have to mention I found out that I don't think I have a very promising career in mechanical bull riding.

Q. What is the best part of working for Bandit Lites?

A. The Bandit Family values are the best part of working at Bandit. Family days really bring everyone together and are great chance to have some fun with other members of staff and their loved ones. I have a 6-year-old daughter and it is great that I can bring her along to meet the people I spend so much of my time with.

Q. What is the biggest challenge you face in your job?

A. Well my biggest challenge started on my first day. I have to be honest, I was a little nervous that I couldn't rise to the challenge as I had such big shoes to fill and had always previously worked as part of an accounting team. It has been great to get my teeth stuck in and work off my own back. I have learned so much about my role and myself since working for Bandit.

Q. Is there a favorite concert that you've attended so far?

A. I am going to have to say without a shadow of a doubt, our current Queen and Paul

Rodgers tour. I actually went to see the show up in Birmingham last month. I've grown up listening to Queen as both my parents are massive fans, so it was really special to be able to take my mum for her birthday and show her how Bandit does things. Neither the band nor Bandit disappointed. The show was amazing.

Q. Who has inspired and/or influenced your work?

A. My mum has inspired me to become the person I am today. She has always worked hard throughout her life and always strived to be the best she can be. She has supported me through all the decisions I have made during my career so far and I am sure she will

in the future.
