PR Lighting Centurys Flood Ukrainian Buildings with Saturated Colour

Ukrainian sound and lighting specialists, CORTMI Ltd, have provided dramatic exterior illumination for two landmark buildings in Ukraine, using architectural lighting fixtures from PR Lighting.
The Chinese company's territorial distributors have used eight Century Spot 2500's and eight Century Colour 2500's to provide a permanent installation for Akula business centre in Donetsk, while a four further Century Spot 2500's are providing a dramatic temporary wash at the dwelling house constructed by the local leading construction company DISC (Donbass Investment and Construction Company Ltd). The Class A building occupies a prime location in the downtown area alongside other similar buildings.
The pieces were recommended by CORTMI's project department (led by Viktor Markov) to meet the inventive design of LD Alexander Kirichok.
CORTMI's marketing manager, Stanislav Serbin, says that the PR Lighting fixtures offered the logical solution based on their cost/performance ratio. "The lighting designer wanted to emphasize the high class of the buildings, make them more attractive for new business and create a positive image to attract potential customers. This challenge was comfortably met by the Century range."
The Century Colour boasts an extremely efficient optic system, a high IP rate and endless possibilities of applications. Based on the MSA 2500 DE lamp rated at 2000 hours, the Century Colour 2500 is designed to flood buildings with light for hours on end before needing a lamp change. The CYM colour-changer system allows a progressive and gradual colouring of the entire light beam, to provide endless shades and ultimate colour saturation.
The versatile Century Spot is a CYM spot projector, created for static architectural use; Due to its extremely efficient optic system and colour changer, endless colour combinations can be achieved.
In both cases the architectural lighting system is controlled by the DMX-Interface LightConverse Replay (designed and manufactured in Ukraine). "Since these are colour-changing installations, all the scenes are programmed and saved in the USB Interface, which works in stand-alone mode," says Stanislav Serbin. "The architectural lighting systems are switched off during the daytime and automatically come on after dark."
