Rosco Everywhere
In just a couple of months (September and October) Rosco exhibited in four trade shows in Europe - PLASA (London), IBC (Amsterdam) , CINEC (Munich) and SIEL/SATIS (Paris), one in the US - LDI (Las Vegas), and promoted one workshop in South Africa. During the events, new products were launched and I-PODs were given away in prize draws for the attendees.
The highlights of the events were the award-winners RoscoVIEW and LitePad HO along with the new series of Gobos and the new Dichro Film.
LitePad HO was awarded by the Black Diamond Award and the STAR (Superior Technology Award Recipient) at the NAB Show, in Las Vegas, last April. RoscoVIEW won the Vidy Award from Videography magazine at the same show. Both products stood out once again in the industry by receiving prizes in the Lighting Engineering category of the CINEC Award, on September.
The new DichroFilm - debuted at PLASA - combines the flexibility, light weight, and safe characteristics of a plastic gel with the longevity and heat resistance of a dichroic filter. It has been successfully used in long term applications on hot, bright light sources as high as 20,000 watts. It is perfect for permanent installations where a flexible filter is required, or where installing glass could pose a safety hazard.
Recently Rosco also released the largest addition to its gobo catalogue by launching over than 400 new and unique designs: 194 new steel, 202 new Glass Spectrum and 12 new Effects Glass gobos.
