A Martin Christmas at Hever Castle

Through to December 21 you can experience the magic of Christmas at Hever Castle, in Kent. With Father Christmas, carols and music, huskies, illuminated gardens, Christmas food and gifts - there's something for everyone.

The organisers have created a unique opportunity to view Hever Castle by moonlight, as the castle is adorned with traditionally decorated Christmas trees and the gardens are illuminated with magical lighting.

Philips have sponsored the lighting for the festivities. The spectacular lighting also features a giant snowflake projected onto the front of the castle, created by using Martin Professional's new Exterior 1200 Image Projector.

The Exterior 1200 Image Projector is the latest addition to Martin's Exterior range of outdoor luminaires and the ideal graphics complement to Martin's Exterior 1200 Wash. It is a powerful 1200W luminaire designed for projecting animated images and effects onto facades, tall structures, shopping centres, or any high-visibility architecture. Designed for night-time environments with emotional impact, the Exterior 1200 Image Projector brings new elements of drama to outdoor illumination: effects projection and animation.

Today, Thursday, December 18, Hever Castle will be open until 8pm, for a special Christmas evening. There will be plenty to get you into the festive spirit, with music and carols to Taro the Jester - the fire-eating extraordinaire. This promises to be a truly merry evening for everyone.

Visitors to Hever Castle can enjoy a taste of Christmas too, as the restaurants at the castle will be serving festive favourites including hot chestnuts, gingerbread men, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Carols and music will flood the castle and the gift shop will be crammed with gorgeous decorations and wonderful gift ideas for Christmas.
