New Home for Stage Electrics' Rinks

Stage Electrics has invested in 22,000 sq ft of additional storage space due to the ever increasing popularity of the company’s temporary ice rinks.
The new storage facility is situated in Croespenmaen, near Blackwood in Caerphilly which is ideally situated close to the M4 just 40 minutes drive from the company’s head office in Avonmouth. The storage facility is situated on a large mixed usage estate and potentially another 500,000 square feet is available if required in the future.
This year Stage Electrics supplied 13 temporary ice rinks in the UK and Ireland including rinks of 850m2 in Manchester, 810m2 in Brighton, 600m2 in Cambridge, 450m2 in Huddersfield, 325m2 at Marwell Zoo and for the third year Gloucester’s rink, two rinks in Bristol, a 600m2 rink in Tralee, Ireland and an artificial rink at Earls Court at the Boat Show.
Gordon Wells, head of finance from Stage Electrics, commented: “Leasing this space makes perfect sense, following the launch of our new ice entertainment, Ice Bumper Cars, our ice storage in our Bristol Head Office was getting close to capacity. We now have plenty of space to store equipment that may only be used once or twice a year, yet is easily accessible for any last minute requirements.”
