OEM Case Solutions From Gator Europe
Founded in 2000 and based in Tampa, Florida, Gator has over 30 years’ experience in the case business and is the only manufacturer to offer a full choice of materials and processes, including PE, ABS, Sewn, Wood, Fabricated, Injection & Rotational Moulding. This range of service allows all types of products to be offered, from lightweight cases right through to heavy-duty flight cases.
Gator Europe, has been established to provide local contact and communication for Gator OEM customers. In other words, Gator will manufacture ‘own brand’ products and deliver directly to the required facility in your organisation. Director of the new operation is David Caulfield (pictured), until recently MD of Martin Professional UK.
Gator has a 400,000 sq feet global manufacturing facility in Dong Guan, China with 550 employees. First class quality control and massive raw material purchasing power ensures continuity of supply of top class products. Gator extrudes all plastic sheet material in house to maintain the highest level of service. Its OEM business clients include Hewlett Packard, JBL, Yamaha, Teac, QSC, Audio-Technica and Johnson & Johnson.
Product design is in-house at Gator, and excellent English speaking support is in place to ensure efficient communication during product development, including European Sales co-ordination, engineering support from Tampa and continuous factory supervision.
Gator is the largest Case supplier in the Entertainment Industry, selling more than 80,000 cases per month and is distributed in 90 countries throughout the world. In the USA Gator has over 2,700 dealers and distribution takes place from two large warehouses in Tennessee and Utah with a two-day UPS ground shipment to 95% of the USA.
Gator has been nominated the NAMM accessory product of the year winning three of the last four years.
Additionally, the company has launched G-Track, which is a GPS/SMS tracking device. This device is a very elegant solution for controlling the security of high value shipments and has already attracted some interesting attention. G-Track can be built into individual cases if required. G-Track was developed in-house at Gator.
