PSL Expands Lighting Control Inventory

PSL’s lighting department has boosted its stock of high-performance lighting control consoles with the addition of a new Vector Red dual-processor system, the largest in Compulite’s Vector range.
“The Vector Red will better equip us to deal with the increased number of large-scale events that PSL is being asked to service,” says lighting designer John Montague.
On arrival, the new Red lighting console was quickly despatched to the upmarket Welsh venue of Celtic Manor, where it was put to use on a large-screen production by Motivaction for Halifax estate agents. Here it was used to control the 12.5 metre wide-screen Hippotizer blend, alongside PSL’s other Vector console (Blue) which was handling lighting.
Designed to give advanced control of conventional and automated fixtures, the Vector Red console offers 3 integrated touch screens, 3 external monitor outputs, 8 on board DMX outputs (16 over Ethernet, 20 motorised playback faders and free WYSIWYG CE. Based on the most advanced computer networking technologies, it delivers unmatched performance reliability with high-level functionality and sophistication.
