Stagecraft Theatre Services Moves to New Heights with Hire
Staging, lighting and sound specialist, Stagecraft Theatre Services (STS), a trading division of Stagecraft Ltd, now offers comprehensive hire and technical support to events, festivals, parties and theatre groups throughout the UK. The hire department at STS, originally part of Stagecraft Ltd, will be joining STS at its new customer service centre at Salisbury, which is due to be opened in 2008. Launched in 2005, STS has celebrated growth of over 150% in the last two years through its sales and installation work with schools, theatres and event venues.
Martin Palmer, sales director of STS commented: “We have always worked very closely with the hire department at Stagecraft and we are delighted to welcome them to STS. As a company we are now able to offer a complete staging service, from the hire of staging, lighting and sound for music events and concerts, to the refurbishment and installation of systems at school theatres and drama halls. The next few years promise to be very exciting for our new team and we are looking forward to the many opportunities ahead.”
Over the next six months STS will be launching a central customer service department, which will be able to respond to all sales, installation and hire enquiries. On board will be business development manager Bryan Kelly, customer services manager Fiona Langdon, production manager Mike Naish and a team of senior engineers, engineers, technical support and warehouse supervisors. The new customer service centre will be situated alongside the current offices and will include a training room, demonstration area and video conferencing facility.
