TPi Readers Vote Showsec Their Favourite Security/Crowd Management Company
Showsec International won the prestigious 2008 TPi Award for Favourite Security/Crowd Management Company on Sunday 17 February 2008. The award, voted for by readers of TPi, one of the live music production industry’s leading voices, reflected the widespread respect Showsec has built among its clients and professional colleagues over its past year’s service to the industry.
The award was presented by Mark Cunningham, Editor of TPi, and Andy Lenthall, General Manager of the Production Services Association (PSA), who commended “Showsec’s ongoing commitment to development and improvement in event crowd management and safety, delivering excellent customer service at live music venues, festivals and major public events throughout the UK and overseas.”
Showsec’s training and development manager Roy Wise and London Area Manager Steve Reynolds accepted the award, with Roy commenting: “We are honoured to receive the 2008 TPi crowd management award and would like to thank everyone who voted for us. We owe this award to the dedication and professionalism of our teams at every level of the company.”
