Speakers
Roger Van Der Plas studied Physics at the University of Gent, Belgium. He was for several years responsible for the development of discharge lamps for general lighting applications and later for discharge lamps for the Entertainment Industry. After a development period he started as product manager for discharge lamps for special applications and for some years he has been product marketing manager for all kinds of entertainment lamps.
Gerald Schuh is Global Product Manager Entertainment/Specialty. Mr. Schuh has been with GE Lighting for over 35 years, 25 of which have been in GE's international and global operations. Before his current job he was the marketing and sales manager for GE's Asia Pacific operations. He is based at GE headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in finance and holds both a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and Masters of Science (MS) in Industrial Relations from Loyola University, also in Chicago
Joachim Denz started to work for Osram in 1990 as a marketing manager for automotive light sources. After having led the automotive Xenonlight - which has become a market reference in automobile lighting - to an international success, he took over in 2005 the new position of the Business Unit Manager for the worldwide Entertainment activities within Osram. Based on his long years of experience in the lighting industry he's bringing valuable contributions to his Entertainment customers maximizing service offerings and innovative products.
