Cloud Electronics Announce New Ownership
Following 28 very successful years of manufacturing and designing highly acclaimed installation sound equipment, founding owners Roy Millington Andrew Colley have officially retired their positions as directors and shareholders of Cloud Electronics Ltd. The management and all shares of the company will pass to Cloud Electronics Holdings Ltd.
The new company is formed under the managing directorship of Simon Curtis and director Clare Powell. Cloud Electronics Ltd will continue to trade without affect and all day-to-day operations will be maintained as usual and without change.
Under Roy and Andrew’s guidance, the Cloud Electronics’ brand has become synonymous with high quality Installation and Contracting products, always steadfastly reliable and purpose-designed.
The ethos of the company is key to Cloud’s success and unrivalled reputation, and will persist going forward. At this time, Roy and Andrew will adopt the role of consultants for Cloud Electronics, supporting Simon and the internal management team – a move to ensure and oversee the smoothest possible transition, as well as to input to the rapidly expanding product design process.
Cloud Electronics promises a very exciting year ahead with a host of new products set to be launched. Roy commented: “We are very pleased that our legacy will be continued by Simon and are totally confident in the future success of the company. The injection of Simon’s youth, enthusiasm and experience in sales, marketing and general management combined with existing design and production expertise all bode well - it’s ironic that we are retiring at this exciting time in company’s history, but we are very confident that the company is in good hands.”
