Iain Ambler Joins projectiondesign for UK and Ireland
projectiondesign has announced the appointment of Iain Ambler (pictured) to its growing sales and marketing team..
In his new role, Iain Ambler is directly responsible for maintaining and strengthening sales and marketing efforts in the UK and Ireland territories and will focus on developing target markets such as post production, simulation and visualisation, audio visual and medical imaging. Iain will report to the director of international sales and marketing, Chris Axford.
A highly accomplished sales leader, Iain Ambler has an impressive track record and he joins the company from projectiondesign’s exclusive UK & Ireland distributor, RGB Communications, where over the past three years he established successful long-term relationships with installers, end users as well as partners and successfully promoted the projectiondesign brand to the UK and Irish markets. Prior to this, he spent seven years working at JVC Professional Europe in a sales and engineering capacity and is a trained and practiced cinema projectionist.
“Iain knows how to maintain and build strong relationships with a diverse range of customers. He has a great knowledge and understanding of the projector market and will be a vital asset to growing the UK and Ireland business. Our ability to attract, hire and retain the industry’s best talent is a result of our ongoing commitment and investment into the audio visual and display industry,” says Chris Axford.
Caroline Britt, managing director at RGB Communications adds: “Iain will be greatly missed at RGB where he was pivotal in helping to increase brand awareness and sales of projectiondesign.
