Litestructures and The O2 Memory Project

Litestructures and The O2 Memory Project

The O2 Memory Project - an exciting community artwork by Jason Bruges Studio - is touring London, Liverpool and Edinburgh for three days each from late-April to early-May 2008. The work uses cutting-edge technology to explore the temporary nature of our digital memories, drawing on the theme of ‘nothing is lost'.
Commissioned by O2 it is inspired by Bluebook, a service that saves contacts and automatically stores photos and texts for O2 customers. The Memory Project is an interactive installation piece conceived to prompt thought and discussion around how we capture and store digital memories.
The complete memory project structure was designed, manufactured, pre-built and installed by Litestructures in just four weeks.
