New Generation Barco NX Indoor LED Screen at the CT Germany Rental Park
CT Germany has enhanced its rental stock with the latest NX platform from Barco, a first-class, high-resolution LED highlight - with a unique black level due to new Black LED technology, developed in cooperation between Barco and Osram. The new NX-4 LED modules fulfill highest demands and convince through extraordinary brilliant image quality at trade-fairs, conferences, events, shows and on TV.
The CT group provides more than 60 square meters of the new Barco NX-4 LED modules in their international rental park - in Europe over 35 square meters are available. The new 16-bit LED processors Barco DX-700 convince through a new system architecture and extremely high picture quality. Together with the NX series this processor achieves excellent results. All existing Barco LED modules and creative LED solutions from Barco can be controlled with the DX-700. The improved signal processing procures real visual improvement for image replication on LED media. For this reason CT decided to replace all Barco D 320 PL, D 320 P and D 320 Lite processors with the new generation DX-700 processors. It is another commitment to quality and reliability at CT projects worldwide.
Some key benefits of the new Barco NX-4 LED modules at a glance: unique, all-time black level due to new, black SMD LED's; contrast ratio 4000:1 and brightness 2000 Nit calibrated at 6500 Kelvin; seamless and lightweight: due to a carbon fiber structure; brilliant colour depth and breathtaking grayscale resolution through 16-bit processing, new ‘tri-colour' calibration (lager colour triangle, wider than the HDTV standard); new LED generation ensures display stability and uniformity over time; creative options: one NX-4 module (W/H/D: 448 x 504 x 210 mm) consists of nine small modules (W/H/D: 149,33 x 168 x 49,2 mm) - for free form LED
Surfaces; creative use of LED technology with the new NX series on a new level: free LED screen designs and formats with smallest modules for the first time in extremely high resolution for the first time; beyond the standard carbon fiber structure CT is already developing basic systems for the creative use of the NX-4 modules.
The first CT Germany project with the new brilliant Barco NX-4 modules was at the Light + Building 2008 in Frankfurt in April. A 6 x 10 module (14 square metres) screen became an eyecatcher and impressed visitors with its brilliance - either with live content at the press conference in HD or with high resolution graphic animations.
Additional to the new Barco NX-4 LED screen, CT Germany delivered the complete video technology for the Osram stand and was responsible for the technical realization of the press conference using own HD broadcast technology - including fiber glass transmission of the press conference to another Osram stand in hall 4.
