A New Generation of Event Technology
PSCo, specialists distributors of ‘Advanced Products', is launching the revolutionary new 4220R - a rental version of the New Generation Infinite Plasma - a bezel-less plasma screen that has been specially designed to suit rental applications.
This stunning new plasma allows events to feature plasma walls of any size or shape. Users can create seamless strips of plasma to large scale video walls that produce unrivalled ‘wow factor' at special events, awards, venues, exhibitions, conferences, experiential campaigns or even on the road with concert tours.
The screens, which are being launched in the PSCo rental fleet in May allow production managers and event organisers to be much more creative with their audio visual displays, whether you are creating a backdrop to a fashion show or huge wall of plasma on an exhibition stand.
Content can be specially created for unusual formats and the Infinite Plasma's built-in processor allows imagery to be scaled across some or even all of the screens within modular displays. PSCo's Technical Manager, Ed Martin, explained: "Multi-images are possible without the need for additional external equipment because each module features a variety of inputs and image scaling is handled internally. Live video feeds can also be transferred to the screens in real time, which has proved extremely popular with live events and award ceremonies."
The revolutionary new 4220R features significant technological advancements in comparison to previous models. The plasma technology has increased brightness levels and an improved contrast ratio and a seam gap of less than 5mm between screens, producing virtually seamless images with astounding picture quality.
The screens are also equipped with unique filters to reduce glare and refection on the glass, providing a technology which enables high resolution imagery, but suitable for use in brightly lit exhibition and event environments.
