grandPA Programming House Launched
grandPA is the UK's first programming house and is opening its doors to LD's, production companies and programmers to offer the very best in lighting programming on the MA Lighting grandMA platform.
Great grandPA Pryderi Baskerville and great grandPA Tim Routledge are highly experienced programmers in the TV, theatre and live concert touring industries. From major Olympic Events to the very best in prime time television, the grandPA's have the experience to cover all genres. From the Winter Olympics to Big Brother and Elton John to Boyzone, the grandPA's have the experience to cover any scale of show.
With over 25 years' combined experience working on high profile shows all over the world they are now offering the unique opportunity for clients to book programmers from a central source and know that they will get excellence in artistic and efficient programming onsite every time.
Using a network of programmers they are able to service both short late notice events and long running tours and television productions with a directory of skilled programmers. These grandPA's will have been checked that they are able to follow the speedy and high quality programming skills that are necessary to succeed.
Grandpa also offers console and media server hire, with a selection of consoles available pre-patched ready for clients' productions. From the end of 2008 they will be offering the first grandMA 2 console in the UK for rental.
Due to growing requests for MA Training based on the specific needs grandPA have also launched grandKIDS, a follow on to MA Lighting's own training that tailors training direct to a programmer or production.
