Procon Supply Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade

Procon Event Engineering, international technical full-service provider for events and TV

productions, are the general technical supplier at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade.

Procon previously supplied the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. This year, they have been appointed to provide the equipment and services for the lighting, sound, video, stage

building, rigging and camera technology elements of the show, as well as supplying power. Contract value is in the area seven figures.

Procon has already established an international reputation by providing the lighting for the opening

ceremony of the Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney and in 2004 in Athens. They will also be working for this year's Olympic Games in Beijing. As part of this, Procon will provide sound equipment for all the sports venues and the opening and closing ceremonies as well as technical equipment for the ARD/ZDF Olympic Studio.
Equipment being used at Eurovision Song Contest 2008 includes 2,500m of truss and 270 chain hoists, 237 MAC2000 profiles and spots, 136 Clay Paky Alpha Spots HPE, 65 GLP Impression LED units, 110 V8 truss toners and 130 Color Kinetics CB12s, four Lycian and four Robert Juliat followspots, four Barco DLP projectors, 144 sq.m Barco screen and 400 sq.m of Martin LC transparent LED system. Fog system is four MDG Atmosphere Hazer 4s. Videoserver is a Hippotizer V3 and Green Hippo 5 plus Barco units. Sound includes 48 Sennheiser Wireless and 48 Sennheiser in Ear mics. Digital mixing desks are Yamaha (3). Line arrays and wedges are Meyer.
