Green Light: ETC's New 70W Source Four HID Luminaire
Energy conservation is a priority and facilities throughout Europe are seeking more efficient lighting solutions. ETC's new Source Four 70W HID luminaire - available in CE version - is a green light.
The 70W Source Four HID incorporates the Philips MasterColour 70W CDM-T lamp, offering the same benefits as the MasterColour 150W lamp - a long 12,000-hour life and warm 3,000°K colour temperature - in a more energy efficient, low wattage solution. A 4,200°K lamp is also available.
ETC's Source Four HID ellipsoidal and Source Four HID PAR optical systems are exceptionally suited for this new lamp. A Source Four HID Junior 26° spotlight equipped with a 150W lamp outputs 4,575 lumens. The same HID lantern equipped with the new 70W lamp outputs over 2,800 lumens. That means that the 70W Source Four HID offers up to 65% of the output for only 45% of the watts! That's energy saving!
All Source Four HID luminaires are available in 70W lamp versions. The CE version of the 70W Source Four HID luminaire uses a Tridonic ballast - the same proven ballast brand used in the 150W CE Source Four HID.
ETC developed Source Four HID luminaires for long hours of continuous operation. Combining the Source Four-brand's acclaimed efficiency, ruggedness and optical precision with HID lamp longevity, these low-maintenance lights are ideal for architectural applications where hanging positions may be difficult to reach or where budgets prohibit frequent relamping.
