GSK Utilise Minty Cool AV

Leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK), integrated the world's latest AV products in the form of a 4 x 3 formation Infinite Plasma at their 2008 global Go Conference. The GSK Stockley Park complex hosted the international employee conference, which showcased seven of company's flagship brands over two days.
GSK Brand managers travelled from across the world for the company's annual internal conference. The GSK events centre was transformed into multiple branded areas, three of which were all imaginatively designed in a creative science theme by long standing brand partner Slice Design.
Specialist live events consultancy, Atomic Tangerine Ltd, worked with Slice to specify the supporting AV products for three GSK brands Aquafresh, Breathe Right and Denture Expert.
The Aquafresh showcase area was divided into three zones, Connections, Expert and the Science Lab. The Tri Max zone featured a state of the art 4220R New Generation Infinite plasma wall in a three by four format from specialist trade distributors, PSCo. The multi-panel screen display branded content that fed through four separate inputs, splitting the screen to display the Power Point presentation and brand messages. The Infinite Plasma wall was the centrepiece and with the increased brightness and contrast of the new generation, the screens were ideally suited to the high ambient light environment.
Lee Eld, director at Atomic Tangerine, explained: "We were looking for an innovative solution that would be able to display the different inputs simultaneously, whilst also performing well in the bright conference room, the Infinite Plasmas worked really well."
The Infinite Plasma wall was supported by three 50" and three 42" plasmas that were strategically placed around the Aquafresh area, reinforcing the key brand messages throughout. Aquafresh demonstration areas formed part of the ‘laboratory' aspect of the conference, with experiments filmed and relayed onto plasmas in real time.
For the Breathe Right space, two 50" plasma screens were used for the entrance, which also incorporated breathing sound effects in line with the content displayed. Three 65" plasmas were also temporarily installed for various Breathe Right brand presentations.
The third zone's Denture Expert entrance The Rock Hard Café, decorated with naughty cavity friendly sweets and featured a 50" plasma which displayed the session's content. Four 42" HD Ready plasmas were also utilised throughout the four Denture Expert zones, two of which were interactive using U Touch optical technology.
