Winkler Selects Barco 6mm Black LED Display for Rental Fleet
Barco has announced that Swiss rental partner Winkler Veranstaltungstechnik AG has selected Barco's NX-6 for its rental fleet.
Located in the heart of Europe and active worldwide, Winkler Veranstaltungstechnik AG is a leading full-service provider of AV equipment specializing in consulting, planning, implementation, support and rental services. Winkler, who supports more than 3.000 events per year and holds one of the largest plant stocks in Europe, has become latest fan of Barco's true black LED display solution - adding 100 square meters of NX-6 to its rental fleet.
"The black chip LED displays have further raised the bar of image quality as clients are now seeing that the impression of sharpness is not only formed by resolution, but also greatly enhanced by the black-level/contrast levels, says Dominic Kölliker, Sales Director at Winkler. "We evaluated a number of Black chip LED displays over the past six months," continued Kölliker. "With NX-6, we found the optimal mix of contrast and resolution. What's more, it delivers on our other key requirements of seamless image quality and creativity options."
Building on NX-4's remarkable black LED technology, Barco expanded the NX product line with the introduction of NX-6 - the industry's ultimate high-quality 6 millimeter indoor LED tile. Using a revolutionary black LED and black silicon resin instead of white epoxy, the 6mm NX-6 delivers the deepest black levels on the market. With a brightness output of 2,000 Nit and market-leading light trap shaders, the NX-6 achieves a stunning contrast ratio of 4,200:1.
Built on a lightweight Mag-frame instead of the traditional box, and employing the same modular concept as the OLite, the tiles can be used in standard displays or split apart to form creative designs of any shape or form. Each module is easily accessible for service.
