Confidence in evenTech Ireland Sealed by Brand's Solid Framework of Success

With November approaching, evenTech Ireland (18th- 19th November, 2008 - RDS Dublin, Ireland), the third exhibition in the series of regional networking forums launched this year by Scattered Media, is on its way and riding a wave of success created by its preceding first-year forum events: evenTech Scotland and evenTech Singapore.

The evenTech brand revolves around a focused, regional exhibition, traditionally spread across two days. Networking is a key part of its success: key decision-makers and influencers from the region are able to spend time with exhibitors, making new business contacts and discussing the latest products with a view to inclusion in upcoming projects.

Education plays an equally important role. evenTech Ireland will feature a free, expanded seminar programme, spanning both days of the show and Scattered Media director, Darren Brechin, affirms the need: "It's a unique opportunity for the region to be educated on its doorstep by industry experts."

Manufacturers and suppliers, buoyed with confidence in the evenTech brand, are committing to the forum that will showcase the latest trends and technologies to the booming Irish market. Statistics from June's evenTech Singapore demonstrate this confidence: 100% of exhibitors stated their overall objectives in terms of establishing contacts for future sales - and also that the quality of visitors - had met or surpassed their expectations.

Confirmed exhibitors for evenTech Ireland include Adam Hall, Andolite, ARD Soilse Productions, Avcom, CUK Audio, Extron Electronics Europe, Fibre Optic Systems, GFD Communications, KV2 Audio Europe, Light Source, LTM - Lift Turn Move, LX 2000, Northern Light, Penn Elcom, Performance Audio & Light, Rea Sound, Sennheiser Ireland, Unusual Rigging, Yamaha Commercial Audio and Zest Audio.

KV2 Audio operations manager, Andy Simmons, explains: "We're exhibiting based on the success of the evenTech Scotland show. It was small but perfectly formed and built very much on a quality of visitor. It became very evident, speaking to the visitors there, that there's a need for small regional shows, rather than the big and supposedly international ones. There are a volume of customers who don't want to travel to those shows, or indeed can't.

"It's no longer an automatic decision to do the larger, big-name exhibitions. Being a relatively new name, [evenTech] Scotland gave us a presence in amongst all our competitors and industry cohorts in a like-for-like manner. It was KV2 Audio saying, ‘we're serious about Scotland and can see we need to be up here,' and it's the same in Ireland: we're under-represented in that country and yet we take it very seriously. We've already had business from there and we know there's more to be had."

He adds: "We want to be a part of evenTech. We are better served by a show with a regional focus."

The timing for evenTech Ireland could not be better. The country is undergoing planned infrastructure improvements and major initiatives under the banner of the €184 billion National Development Plan 2007, entitled ‘Transforming Ireland - A Better Quality of Life for All'. This programme assures a vast potential for business in the AV sector. evenTech Ireland provides the occasion where products and applications of manufacturers and suppliers meet key decision makers at a crucial time in the regional market's development.
