Successful in Eastern Europe: JumboLift and XYZ Controller

In the recent past, Chainmaster Bühnentechnik of Eilenburg has provided chain hoists and chain-hoist controllers ‘Made in Germany' for a variety of projects in Eastern Europe. One notable venue to be thus equipped was the Luzhniki Olympic Complex in Moscow - a stadium associated primarily today with football, as it was there back in May that the final of the European Champions League between Manchester United and Chelsea was played. ChainMaster supplied one hundred and twenty D8 Plus 500kg chain hoists for the stadium. The equipment was used for the final itself.
The Lomonosov Moscow State University has also invested in equipment from ChainMaster, including four D8 Jumbo Lifts (the 6-tonne model) to manoeuvre the university's heavyweight video cube into position and a D8 manual control for installation work also involving the video cube.
Also finding their way to Moscow, this time however to an events service provider, were four VarioLift 500 hoists and four VarioTrolleys - electric running gear with integrated frequency converters and positioning units. The material is available for hire from LiveSound Rental Company.
Equipment from ChainMaster has also been deployed to great effect in St Petersburg, where eight 500kg VarioLifts have been installed in the Mariinsky Theatre as well as a mobile PC control system with the new XYZ Controller. Just such a control system, an XYZ, is available for hire from EuroShow Rental Company along with eight 500kg VarioLifts and four VarioTrolleys. Other users of ChainMaster chain-hoist systems in St Petersburg include the Ice Palace, which boasts four 6,000kg Jumbo Lifts as well as a C1 manual controller for installation work with the video cube.
For the Sport Palace in Nizhniy Novgorod (Russia), ChainMaster supplied inter alia a PC control system with four 1,250 kg VarioLifts for installation work with the arena's video cube. The ChainMaster controller synchronizes the drives and provides continuous supervision of all the attached loads. Furthermore ChainMaster's QuickStart function allows the operator to choose from among 144 pre-programmed positions for the video cube. A similar ChainMaster chain-hoist system is in use in (among other venues) the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart and the SAP Arena in Mannheim.
For the newly reconstructed Forum Hall in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, ChainMaster supplied two mobile manual control systems accompanied by 16 in the one case and 24 in the other 500kg BGV-C1 chain hoists. These have already been deployed at a variety of events in the Forum Hall Metropole on the Caspian Sea.
