Clay Paky New Products at PLASA 2008

Alpha Beam 1500 is a new 1500W concept beam moving light that produces a super-concentrated and super-powerful parallel light beam for use with a very long throw aircraft landing light effect, but with brand new graphic, chromatic and movement feature that is superior and innovative.
Alpha Beam 1500 is ultra bright and "eco-friendly", and thanks to the new special Clay Paky optical group, it produces a much greater brightness than lights of the same power, achieving projection distances reached only by lights of thousands of watts, but with the energy consumption of a 1500W light bulb. This enables it to be used instead of considerably larger projectors, with enormous savings in energy.
Alpha Beam 1500 has a wide effect section and can be used both as a moving beam and a spot thanks to the 14 gobos (six rotating and eight fixed), focusing (patend pending), two rotating prisms, rotating beam shaper, and mechanical iris. It also features CMY + colour wheel, dimmer + precision dimmer on separate channels, three combinable linear frosts on dedicated channels, and stop/strobo.
Alpha Beam 300 is the only 300W beam moving light on the market able to release an Aircraft Landing light effect from a powerful, light and compact moving body. Like an ACL Par64, the Alpha Beam 300 can be used in "live" environments, especially for long throw use, and in addition to the former offering a series of graphic and movement capacities impossible to imagine so far.
Thanks to the new special Clay Paky optical grouping, Alpha Beam 300 is three times brighter than an ordinary 1200W wash projector, with the energy consumption of a 300W light bulb. This enables it to be used instead of considerably larger projectors, with savings in energy.
Alpha Beam 300 has a complete effect section, where the aperture and graphic of the "tube of light" can be decided at will by using the eight fixed gobos available as standard (four gobo images + four beam angle reduction gobos). It also features a patented frost, "soft mode" and "hard edge" mode, CMY and colour wheel, electronic ballast, broad soft and fast movement to easily move onto the stage, the public, the ceiling or towards the sky for open-air events.
