Klotz Digital Announces New Chinese Exclusive Distributor for Broadcast Products
Klotz Digital Asia has announced today the appointment of Digital Media Technologies (DMT) as their new exclusive distributor for broadcast products in the Republic of China.
Klotz Digital's general manager Asia Pacific, Patrick Salloch, explains: "This is a further step for us to strengthen our market position in one of the world's fastest expending economies. Over the last couple of months DMT has proved to be a competent market leader by exceeding our expectations as a reseller."
DMT have recently been awarded the tender to supply three VADIS D.C.II consoles and VADIS routers to Zhejiang TV and also provided Henan Radio with a VADIS D.C.II solution for one of their broadcast trucks.
"With offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Guangzhou DMT provides us with the perfect platform to sell our Xenon and AEON products to the smaller broadcasters in China and through their connections with large television and radio broadcasters will be able to offer the DECENNIUM and our famous VADIS solution," continued Patrick Salloch.
China's broadcast market is fast growing and highly competitive. It has been expanding dramatically before the Olympics. Even if rapid economic growth is slowing down after the Olympics, as feared by China itself, it is more important then ever for Klotz Digital to partner with a strong technology provider like DMT to be able to still increase market shares over the coming years.
The CEO and president of DMT, Clement Chio, gives further insight: "We are delighted and honoured to have been chosen by Klotz Digital as their exclusive distributor in China. We believe their broadcast catalogue offers some of the most advanced radio and television audio products in the world and we feel that this newly formed alliance will give us the opportunity to provide even more.
