Land Rover Utilise Infinite Plasma Screens at Motorshow
This year's British International Motorshow saw Land Rover break with convention. The motoring giant's brand experience agency Imagination integrated an innovative 1 x 3 4220R Infinite Plasma strip into their stand design promoting their latest automotive technology, the Diesel ERAD Hybrid.
The biannual Motorshow at Excel which took place from the July 23rd to August 3rd is the biggest automotive exhibition in the country, attracting car fanatics from all over the world. Land Rover incorporated the latest cutting edge technology, the 4220R Infinite Plasma on their stand to showcase key corporate product information and branding for their new automotive innovation, the Land Rover hybrid diesel powertrain.
Specialist design and communications consultancy Imagination worked with Land Rover to create a stunning visually advanced stand. The 1 x 3 4220R strip of Infinite Plasmas from specialist trade rental distributors PSCo were specified to fit into the back wall of the ERAD hybrid technology area of the stand, creating a seamless video wall along the back of the feature area. The new Infinite plasma technology which features an anti reflective surface was ideal for the high ambient light within the exhibition.
"I've been reluctant to use the original bezelless Plasma's within an exhibition environment due to the highly reflective glass surface. For this project, however, the highly detailed content being developed by our Digital Comms team lent itself perfectly to the drawing paper-like quality of the new 4220R panel. The screens coped admirably with the high lighting levels and white surfaces of the surrounding architecture." said Dan Sloane, senior technical project manager at Imagination.
