PR Lighting Helps Fiat Bank Poland Celebrate
Fiat Bank Polska in Warsaw recently celebrated its tenth anniversary - with a spectacular event in the famous old Warsaw University of Technology - one of the largest academic schools of technology in Eastern Europe.
The building's grand façade was flooded for the occasion with architectural lighting from four PR Lighting Century Color 2500L's to create a breathtaking effect.
With their high IP rating and excellent optics, these fixtures were provided by Mediam Sp. zoo, PR Lighting's Polish distributors, to create an unforgettable tapestry for an evening which saw a performance by famous Polish famous singer, Natalia Kukulska, in front of an audience of around 400.
Mediam were brought in by professional creative agency and production company, Creative Media, with whom they have worked in the past - and the company's in-house lighting designer Maciej Bubula set to work on ingtegrating several PR Lighting fixtures with an LED screen (for the performance by Kukulska in the main hall), rounding off the evening with an unforgettable laser display.
Mediam brand manager, Małgorzata Dymek, explained that the Century Color 2500L's were positioned on the first floor, along the wall of the building - at a distance of 15 metres from each other. This enabled them to flood the entire building area - one focused on illuminating the entrance and the remaining three highlighting the building's many arches, in a series of colour changes.
Operating under DMX control, the 2500W lamped Century Color 2500L allows buildings to be flooded with a deeply saturated colour mix of cyan, yellow and magenta, with smooth lighting distribution created from 25° x 40° beam angles and shutter for blackout and dimming.
In addition to the Century Colors, two PR Lighting Pilot 575 (MSR 575) moving heads were used to project the Fiat and Fiat Bank Polska logos. These popular spots contain two colour wheels, five indexable rotating gobos and seven fixed gobos.
Maciej Bubula programmed the Century Color 2500L's to maximum effect, and Magdalena Jakubiec of Chimera Art, who staged the event, was certainly impressed with the dynamic impact that was created. "To enhance this prestigious event we decided to use a series of architectural lighting projectors from PR Lighting. Both the building and its interior were flooded with the lighting, which created a memorable visual setting and made a lasting impression. We would certainly use this type of projection in the future on our events."
