The White Light Zone Returns to PLASA 2008
White Light will repeat the success of its 2007 PLASA Show appearance at the 2008 Show - the 31st PLASA Show - once again creating the White Light Zone in Earls Court 2 to showcase not only the company's own products and services, but also those of the many companies for which White Light is the exclusive UK distributor: Robert Juliat, Look Solutions, LSC Lighting, ELC, LDDE, Rainbow Colour Changers and Wireless Solution.
All of the companies will be demonstrating their latest products, many of which have already proven themselves in theatres and on productions around the world. Robert Juliat will be showing their acclaimed followspot range, from the compact Buxie up to the spectacular Lancelot, as well as their wider range of PC, Fresnel and profile spotlights. LDDE will demonstrate both fluorescent and LED-based colour mixing systems in the SpectraConnecT5 and SpectraLED ranges, plus the SpectraWow Mk II RGB LED Spotlight.
Lighting control equipment will be on show from both LSC Lighting, with the maXim console and EKO and Redback dimming systems, and ELC Lighting, who will have their ShowSTORE Artnet/DMX playback systems, DMX splitters and hand-held remote systems on display.
These products will be complemented by smoke and effects from Look Solutions, who will be showing their popular Unique 2 hazer, the Orka smoke generator, the CryoFog low smoke machine, and the Oscar-winning Tiny Fogger smoke machine, and by the comprehensive range of Rainbow colour scrollers.
White Light itself will be showing both products of its own - including the legendary VSFX Optical Effect System, in use on products around the world and now available with a new projector from Robert Juliat, the new DMX-controlled Falling Snow Machine, plus White Light's CE/BS546/RoHs/WEEE-compliant two-way 15A adaptor - and the very latest additions to its diverse, extensive lighting rental stock. The highlight of these products is EvenLED, the unique LED lighting system that brings cyclorama lighting into the twenty-first century - able to light a cyc in just about any colour from a throw of just 25cm, and with low energy requirements, no bulbs to blow and no burnt-out colour to replace!
Representatives of White Light and all of the companies in the White Light zone will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the products and their possible applications, with the White Light Bar, now firmly established in PLASA-lore, available as the most relaxed place at the show to continue those discussions or just catch up with the latest gossip!
The White Light Zone can be found in Earls Court 2, with Robert Juliat on stand D76, Look Solutions on stand D77, LSC Lighting on D81, ELC on D82, LDDE on D83, and White Light on stands D78 and D79. The 2008 PLASA Show runs from September 7th-10th at Earls Court in London.
