24 Butterflies for Yamaha Fest

The grand party for all Yamaha fans was amplified by Outline Butterfly line arrays. The eleventh edition of the “Yamaha Fest” – held from July 4 to 6 at Misano Adriatico – was an extraordinary opportunity for motorcyclists and buffs to get together.
The event was held at Santamonica SpeedDrive, at the Misano World Circuit, a great theme park on the Rimini Riviera dedicated to motorbikes. A venue hosting world-level sports events and a real gem from a practical point of view and as far as reliable organization is concerned.
Bikers literally invaded the racetrack but since access was free, no matter what brand of bike the participants owned, even the Marina di Cattolica reserved area was packed with people.
There was even an event within the event: the Yamaha Fest set a Guinness record, with the largest cavalcade of bikes of the same brand ever staged: 548 Yamaha T-Max led by the great Japanese racer Noriyuki Haga invaded the Misano circuit, escorted by the Italian Police force’s Lamborghini Murcielago.
There were countless guests at the three-day party, from MotoGP to SuperBike Champs, as well as top personalities of the past and official dealers. All the Yamaha racers were there: Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, James Toseland, Noriyuki Haga and Troy Corser.
As sound reinforcement for a vast area of approximately 80 x 40 metres, 24 Butterfly CDH 483 Hi-Pack (12 aside) backed up by 6+6 Victor Live subwoofers were flown at the side of the stage. All were powered and controlled by Outline Series T power amps and Genius 26 processors.
The work was organised by Planet Service of San Marino, a rental company with a stock of Outlinearrays and one of the most qualified European companies in the corporate event field, with prestigious references (conventions by Herbalife, Nike, Asics, Reebok, Mercedes Smart Tour, Valleverde, AGIP, Upim, Villaggi del Ventaglio, Tecnocasa, Autogrill many more).
The work of fine-tuning the rig was entrusted to system engineer Carlo Gennaro, who carried out the work on behalf of Planet Service.
