Blitz for Earls Court and Olympia

Blitz is now the sole AV supplier to four of the country's biggest and most prestigious venues - ExCel London, Manchester Central, Earl's Court and Olympia.

Blitz has beaten seven other companies to win the Earl's Court and Olympia contracts and, in so doing, has become the first company to have sole supplier audio visual contracts at four of the UK's biggest and most important venues. Blitz Communications is already the sole supplier to ExCel London - where it recently extended its initial contract for a further five years - and to Manchester Central, where earlier this year it beat five other companies to gain the three-year contract. The two wins just announced will provide Earl's

Court and Olympia with the very latest AV facilities and equipment that Blitz is already providing to such top West End musicals as ‘Phantom of the Opera' as well as to leading TV shows such as ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks' and ‘Deal or No Deal'.

"Of the companies that we saw, Blitz Communications Ltd was the clear choice - based on its reputation, extensive history and track record and its obvious desire to become part of our business," commented Debbie Law, halls director, London Olympia. "We were particularly impressed by Blitz's culture of customer service and the way that it works - and we are extremely positive about this partnership going forward."

Blitz enables the users of all four of these major venues to have access to the very latest, state-of-the-art equipment including video, sound, lighting, set and staging, and, most important, to a complete back-up team of technical experts and service.

At all of the venues Blitz's project managers and technicians will work closely with the venue's own team to ensure that every single exhibitor gets the maximum out of the highly sophisticated AV systems Blitz makes available. It is by working closely with the exhibitor, the conference organiser and the venue owner that Blitz will be able to ensure that every exhibitor has a  bespoke AV programme suited to their individual needs.
