LightProcessor at PLASA 08

LightProcessor is launching new dimming products at PLASA 08 and will show the full ranges of its popular Paradim and Dimension dimmers, along with its QCommander and Zip lighting control desks and dynamic range of DMX tools.
The new RCBO Paradim wall-mounted dimmer offers all the features and values of the standard Paradims, with an RCBO on each channel for compliance with the new 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Also new at the show are two socketed versions of the Paradim wall-mounted installation dimmer and two new versions of LightProcessor's Dimension wall mounted series. All four of these products feature 12 Cee 17s and 2 Schukos. The Paradims are available with MCB, Double Pole and RCBO options. The Dimension range continues to be one of the most versatile and cost-effective wall dimming ranges on the market.
Also highlighted at the show is the full range of LightProcessor Location dimmers - a portable dimming solution for the film, TV and events industries including 6 x 10 and 6 x 16 Amp versions, complete with Cee 17's fitted on the rear, plus a 3 x 25A and a 1 x 63A module. Location dimmers come with integral mains lead, local control plus DMX and analogue inputs, plus multifunction back lit LCD display, and are designed as a complete ‘ready-to-go', out of the box, plug-in-and-play dimming system.
The Paradim range features a low-cost, 6-scene, 6 channel dimmer, available in 6 x 10A, 6 x 16A or 6 x 20A formats. It can be hard wired or rack mounted, single or three phase and encompasses fire alarm settings, onboard scene memory. Scenes stored in the dimmer can be recalled by any of the LightProcessor series of Scene Recall Button Stations, either with LED indicators, faders or simple buttons. It comes with a series of different sockets from Schuko to Cee17, 15 amp uk and hard wired. On the rear of the rack mounted dimmers you can fit the service plate with varying different options.
The Dimension Memory dimmer's compact size, streamlined appearance and ease of installation have made it a smart choice in both architectural and entertainment sectors. The Dimension range consists of 12 or 18 channel units of 10 Amps-per-channel, which can be wired as 3 phase or single. The 1210 and 1810 units can be split between different zones - one zone of 18 scenes, two of 12 and six or three of 6. Channels are allocated to zones via central programming from any DMX desk, and don't have to be divided in a pre-determined way.
Channel identification and MCBs are standard and RCCD options allow Dimension dimmers to be used in any location, and operational feedback can be seen via simple, clear visual indicators.
LightProcessor's popular Zip lighting desks will be demonstrated on the stand, in all forms - 6, 12 and 18 channels. This features both analogue and DMX outputs plus sub masters and chases, making it a highly compact, multi-purpose desk.
LightProcessor's handy series of DMX signal processing products includes the QDMuX, QStore and QBuffer, with the latest addition, an all 3-pin XLR buffer, created by popular demand from the installation market. These are available in both truss and 19" rack-mounting version.
