Club Hopping with HK Audio in Tirana, Albania
Prosound is the name of the new HK Audio Dealer in Tirana, Albania. The company reports that it has already begun to make excellent headway in the city. In a relatively short period of time, Prosound has already managed to install sound systems in four of Tirana's clubs und bars.
In the first one, Club Sharm, Prosound installed four HK Audio E.L.I.A.S. PX hi/mid-range units, two E.L.I.A.S. PX subwoofers, two PRO:15 cabinets and two PRO: 15x cabs. This club is situated directly across from the Sheraton Hotel and naturally receives a large number of hotel guests, who appreciate the broad eclectic mix of music offered here. Sharm routinely hosts promotional parties for the energy drink "Shark." Since live bands often play at these events, the club wanted a flexible sound system that could easily be upgraded on demand, and could reproduce live sound with the same clarity and detail as the recorded music played by the DJs.
Another club in Tirana that has opted for the HK Audio brand of sound is the Mad-Club. This club is one of the best-known and most popular club hopping destinations in Albania's capital. With its capacity of 600-800 guests, the Mad-Club plays House and R&B music, usually spun by top guest-DJ's from throughout Europe. The Mad-Club is currently equipped with an E.L.I.A.S. PX system on loan from Prosound, to be upgraded in the spring with an HK Audio IL Series system.
The Prado-Café coffee bar in Tirana is another club that has joined the ranks of satisfied HK Audio customers. Open all day long, this bar normally plays canned background music but runs Karaoke events on Saturday evenings. Here Prosound installed two pair each of HK Audio PRO: 10 and PRO: 18 cabinets - a good match for the bar's capacity of about 100 guests.
Another coffee bar located in the heart of Tirana and favored by a very young crowd has likewise cast its vote for the HK Audio PRO: Series. This establishment, the Café & Café Bar, has DJ music running constantly and is a favorite place for the capital's trendy young adults between the ages of 18 and 22 to meet. The sound system which Prosound installed here consists of a pair of HK Audio PRO: 10x and a single PRO: 18.
Kliton Gjika from Prosound has been very satisfied with their rapid progress in Tirana, and very motivated by the support he has received from HK Audio. Prosound already has more HK Audio installations in the works in Albania's capital, including larger ones.
