From One to Four
Monacor International has announced the MKS-48/WS sound reinforcement system, in which each separate speaker forms an individual ‘segment' of a complete 360° hemisphere (when four are used).
Thus the MKS-48/WS can be used singly (as a ceiling corner-mount unit), in pairs (as a flat 180° vertically- and horizontally-radiating wall solution), in threes (wrapped around a column) or with four segments fitted together, to provide a hemispherical ceiling speaker.
The MKS-48/WS is a high-quality 10cm full range ‘universal' speaker which because of its versatility allows perfect integration into any indoor application.
Available in pure white the loudspeaker can be adjusted to provide to complete high quality sound, no matter in which position (or orientation) the speakers are placed.
The MKS-48/WS is ideal for background music in a variety of environments where aesthetics and high-quality sound are important - from retail boutiques to chic restaurants and late night style and cocktail bars.
The dimensions of the 8W speaker system are 195 x 145 x 140mm, the reproduction frequency is 100-20,000Hz and the SPL (1W/1m) is 87dB at a power rating of 30WMAX.
The speaker systems are supplied in pairs and include a variable support and mounting system.
