IMG Stage Line Space-Saving CD/MP3 Players

Monacor International has introduced a series of five 1RU space-saving audio sources for professional PA systems to its IMG Stage Line catalogue.

These consist of the CD-120 - a dual CD and MP3 player; CD-110T - the CD/MP3 player with tuner; CD-110 - a single CD/MP3 player; DP-120 - a dual MP3 player with USB interface and SD/MMC card slot, and finally the DPR-110, an MP3 recorder which is also suitable for USB and SD/MMC media. These will provide the perfect audio sources - whether on theatre stages, in shopping centres, hotels, conference rooms and health and fitness facilities.

The DP-120 is a dual MP3 player for professional PA applications which combines two USB interfaces and SD/MMC card slots. Operable directly at the unit or via infrared remote control, the DP-120 can read MP3 and WMA files directly from the USB hard disk or USB sticks and also support SD/MMC cards up to 4Gb. Features of the DP-120 include the possibility of sampling all tracks, the programming of an individual track sequence as well as folder navigation, fast forward and reverse, random play, intro play and continuous repeat. Thus, the DP-120 is a professional player or a useful space-saving tool for background PA applications.

The CD-120 (dual CD and MP3 player), with two slot-in player mechanisms and two USB 2.0 interfaces, is of an equally compact size and likewise capable of handling the strains of continuous operation. The CD-120 features an anti-shock memory for the CD player mechanisms which can compensate for vibrations and shocks of up to 40 seconds.

In addition to the CD player mechanism with USB interface, the CD-110T also features an FM/AM tuner with ten memory positions. The CD-110 features a CD player mechanism with anti-shock protection and USB interface, and also supports the WMA format.

The DPR-110 MP3 recorder allows MP3 and WMA files to be played (data rate: 256 kb/sec. max.) from USB storage media and SD/MMC cards (up to 4Gb, FAT 32). For recordings in the MP3 format, an audio unit (radio, CD player, tape deck, etc.) may be connected. In addition, it is possible to copy tracks from an SD/MMC card to a USB storage medium and vice versa.
