Meyer Sound Adds Freddy Meyer to European Technical Support

Meyer Sound has added Jan Frederick Christoph Meyer aka "Freddy" to their European Technical Support team.

"I am happy about becoming a part of the Meyer Sound family and joining the European Tech Support team," says Freddy. "I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in many different productions with Meyer Sound's versatile and reliable gear. This experience will allow me to support Meyer Sound customers and provide the level of service the company is known for."

More recently with Munich-based technical event supplier, Gerhofer GmbH, Freddy brings to the company experience in rigging, lighting, pyrotechnic and laser techniques and a keen understanding of Meyer Sound products, as well as IT and digital networks. He studied communications engineering at University of Applied Sciences Cologne and is currently finishing his Bachelor Professional (CCI) of Event Technology Management and Operations.

"As our industry becomes more computer based," says Luke Jenks, director of European Technical Support, "Freddy's in-depth knowledge of digital systems is a perfect addition to our group. The growing number of Meyer Sound users in Europe will surely benefit from Freddy's presence as the company continues to expand our customer support worldwide."

Freddy will be based at the company's new European Technical Services Center within Meyer Sound Germany's Montabaur facility.
