Tomcat's (core) Wins at WFX

Tomcat has announced that (core) won Best Lighting Equipment in the New Product Awards at the October WFX show in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Also winning at WFX was Janice Gardner of Wpg Interiors Exteriors, Inc. in Atlanta. Gardner won a Columbus McKinnon Prostar, a ¼ ton chain hoist motor that is the perfect size for small venue lifting applications - lights, AV and sound equipment in sanctuaries and auditoriums. "What a nice surprise! I never win. We will be putting it to good use," exclaimed Gardner after hearing the news.
(core) is a new line of truss that consists of 12"x12", 12"x18", and 20.5"x20.5" box truss, based on market demand for stronger, slightly lighter, and less expensive products. (core)12 is conventional 12"x12" light-duty box truss, modified to provide more efficiency. At 60lbs for a 10' section and the ability to sustain 1,040lbs total Uniformly Distributed Load over a 40' span-a 200lb increase over conventional light-duty-it is light-duty stripped to the core.
