AKA Completes Audio Re-vamp at Voice and Music

Following the successful launch of the new Voice And Music facility in Soho Square, AKA Design have now installed their fourth and final desk to house Digidesign's D-Command 24. Over the past year AKA has custom designed and built four suites including voice over and producers tables all finished in Crown Oak veneer.

Established fifteen years ago by the composition team of Kim Goody and Alan Coates, The Voice And Music Company handles composition, sound design and audio post-production for a variety of film and television clients including Disney, Chapman Entertainment, the BBC, Novel Entertainment and Chorian.

Alan Coates, director of The Voice And Music Company, says: "When we moved into Soho Square our aim was to build a post production facility that was technically and acoustically excellent, as well as pleasant and comfortable for our clients to spend time in. We chose AKA Design for all of our furniture requirements because they have a solid reputation for delivering bespoke solutions that are both ergonomic and beautiful. All of our studios now feature AKA Design desks and they look great. We have gone with light oak to keep the rooms feeling bright and spacious and we were especially pleased that AKA took on board some of our design suggestions and incorporated the shapes we liked into the finished pieces of furniture.

"AKA Design are very creative and have always delivered exactly what we wanted on time and for a reasonable price. In these uncertain times it's good to know there are companies like AKA that you can rely on."
