Kling + Freitag at Frankfurt

At Prolight + Sound, Kling + Freitag will be presenting two new products: The bass element Sequenza 10 B as a system supplement to the successfully launched K&F Line Array Sequenza 10 N/W and the Digital Network Amplifier Topas, a system amplifier for fixed installations.
The subwoofer Sequenza 10 B is an ideal supplement to the Sequenza 10 N/W Line Array elements. The powerful double 15" can either be flown with Sequenza 10 N/W systems or in separate bass arrays. It is suitable for various applications as well as for use as a conventional subwoofer on the ground. Various setups in the K&F SystemRack make it possible to control the Sequenza 10 B as cardioide, hypercardioide, and conventional omnidirectional bass unit. An additional Speakon connector on the front of the system simplifies the wiring for cardioide operations and optimises the appearance.
The K&F Topas is a 2-channel system amplifier with a K&F remote system specifically developed for the special demands of fixed installations. The 'intelligent' power amplifier Topas is based on a linear servo power amplifier with a conventional power supply unit and delivers 2 x 1kW at 4 ohms (IEC). All critical paths are constantly monitored by a microprocessor and recorded in compliance with EN60849. The remote system is based on state-of-the-art microprocessor and DSP technology and is equipped with generous power reserves. No software is necessary to configure the power amplifier using any html-compatible browser. Freely assignable inputs and outputs in 0-10 volts and open collector technology are available for connections to media controllers. The power amplifier is equipped with intelligent soft-start and standby controls, making it possible to reduce the power consumption to fewer than 5 watts in the standby mode.
