Cadac Puts on a Spectacular Show at Prolight + Sound 2009
Cadac Holdings Limited will be showing a comprehensive line-up on Stand No: 31 in Hall 8 at Prolight + Sound 2009, taking place in Frankfurt from 1-4 April. The production version of the S-Digital mixing console will be joined by the first of three series of brand new compact analogue consoles - the Live1 - together with the new Cadac LiveWire 32/8 digital multi-core stagebox and breakout system. Full details will be unveiled at the show.
Since January, it has been all systems go for Cadac as General Manager Bob Thomas elaborates: "In just a few short weeks, Cadac is already seeing the benefits of the initial phases of Soundking's investment in the company, with the first new designs making their debut at Prolight + Sound. Everything is going full tilt at our Luton factory, where we are working flat out to fulfil a large number of sales orders - with S-Types, F-Types, and an R-Type shipping out to Russia, Germany, Korea and China, together with a quantity of J-Type modules for the USA and Australia. At the same time, we are also recruiting digital and analogue engineers in line with our forward product development programme. Prolight + Sound will see the launch of a brand new analogue product line, with the Live1 Series consoles. We have focused on creating a compact, highly cost-effective yet feature-rich package that incorporates key elements from our large-scale console designs, without compromising the traditional Cadac hallmark quality and attention to detail. We are extremely excited about the future - Prolight + Sound is a taste of things to come, demonstrating that Cadac continues to be an exceptional UK-based audio brand."
The Cadac name has been synonymous with top quality mixing consoles since 1968, from its earliest designs for recording studios and broadcast applications, through to the latest live sound reinforcement consoles. The company's reputation for unparalleled audio quality and intuitive operation is matched by continuous enhancement and development, using the highest quality components together with innovative electronic and mechanical designs. The Cadac J-Type Live Production Console remains the industry-standard choice for leading musical productions, featuring on Broadway, the West End and around the world on long-running hits including Mamma Mia!, Wicked, Jersey Boys, and Disney's Lion King. Cadac is headquartered in Luton, where all Cadac products are designed, manufactured and assembled.
