Harlequin Extends Range of Ballet Barres
British Harlequin has continued to develop ballet barres, both freestanding and for permanent installation, and can now offer a comprehensive range to suit a wide variety of application requirements.
Whichever type is selected the value of a sturdy, robust ballet barre is regarded as essential for warm up and stretching exercises to properly increase blood flow to muscles and reduce the risk of injury before taking to the dance floor.
Harlequin's wall mounted ballet barres include both single and double barre versions and can be installed using a choice of various shaped mounting plates to suit the particular needs of a studio. The beech wood barres come in 1500 mm lengths as standard and are installed end to end with the joins concealed by the bracket heads to create continuous runs along a studio wall. Although the standard bracket colour is black, other colours and even chrome plating are available to special order. As well as wall-mounting, a number of other mounting bracket options has been developed. These include under window wall-mounted brackets and end brackets. Where walls are unsuitable for fixings, or the ballet barres are to be in front of mirrors, then floor-mounting solutions installed during the laying of the sprung floor can provide a solution. Harlequin also offers a range of freestanding ballet barres, lightweight for transportation thanks to their aluminium construction and with a choice of aluminium or beech barre.
Full details of the range are contained in a new brochure available from British Harlequin on 01892 514888, or can be downloaded from the website www.harlequinfloors.com
