Multiform New Products at ProLight+Sound
Multiform Lighting will release nine new additions to their expanding range of professional LED lighting products on the stand of their international distributor Adelto Ltd at the Pro Light and Sound show in Frankfurt April 1-4.
The MultiSpot Eco complements the shape of the highly successful Multispot range, but uses a plastic body with a single bracket, a RGB LED panel using 195 LEDs, plus a linear power supply unit and no sound-to-light circuit. This allows for much more competitive pricing whilst maintaining the unique Multispot appearance and Multiform's 4-channel DMX control, offering stand-alone and also remote operation. The MultiSpot Eco is the perfect choice for remote-controlled installed systems or smaller mobile systems that require a less road-proof construction.
The MultiSpot HP moves the unique MultiSpot appearance to the next performance level. By using an array of nine of the new 3W MulTriCell LED devices, it delivers 27W of solid state lighting power, while perfecting Multiform's UCO (uniform colour output) approach, leaving the days of visible red, green and blue LEDs behind. The lens panel with 36 mm ClearPass lenses has a beam angle of 30 degrees, to suit most applications. The MultiSpot HP uses temperature controlled fan cooling and a silent switch-mode power supply meeting all regulatory approvals as well as the unbeaten 4-channel DMX control.
The MultiBeam HP marks Multiform's top-of the-line model in indoor LED lighting fixtures. By using an array of 18 of the new 3 W MulTriCell LED devices, it delivers 54W of solid state lighting power, using Multiform's UCO (uniform colour output) approach, leaving the days of visible red, green and blue LEDs behind. The lens panel with 36mm ClearPass lenses has a beam angle of 30 degrees, to suit most applications. The MultiBeam uses a new internal 60W active PFC switch mode power supply with forced cooling to ensure compliance with EN61000-3-2, while maintaining the unbeaten 4-channel DMX user concept, offering stand-alone and also remote control operation with unprecedented ease of use.
The MultiWall RGB LED Batten opens up the new application field of architectural short - to medium throw wall washing to Multiform's range of LED illumination fixtures. It delivers 32W of solid state lighting by means of 243 pieces of 10 mm high brightness Trisize LEDs, and is equipped for indoor as well as outdoor applications (by optional conversion kit). The MultiWall uses a new internal 40W active PFC switch mode power supply ensuring compliance with EN61000-3-2, while maintaining Muliform's successful 4-channel DMX user concept. It provides stand-alone and also remotecontrol operation with unprecedented ease of use. M10 bushes and hinged mounting brackets allow the MultiWall to be horizontally or vertically mounted on either trussing, wall, floor or ceiling. An innovative dual-purpose connection system allows mobile use with detachable cabling as well as fixed installations with hidden wiring.
Bands, mobile DJs, small clubs and venues will find the MultiLED LC300H DMX LED handheld controller the best and most versatile way to control their Multiform LED lighting system. The unit is ready for connection to the MultiFoot LC400F remote control, which allows control of the Black Out, Run or All On mode, Function and Mood remotely via four foot switches - perfect for any small band or entertainer.
The MultiPac LP405D DMX-controlled dimmer pack combines all the features that mobile or permanently installed lighting rigs need if run from a single phase 16 A supply, being one of the few dimmer packs sporting a current limiter to avoid your AC supply's fuse breaker from blowing in the middle of a gig. With its on-board controls and sophisticated edit options, plus the remote control functions via DMX, the MultiPac LP405D DMX-controlled dimmer pack can be used in any scenario
from band lighting, mobile DJ setups, general rental applications to shop and display lighting. Major attention has been paid to keep operation simple but still allow sophisticated editing of settings like dim curve, preheat and channel configuration if required. Oversized components, a well designed cooling system plus truss mounting/safety lug thread inserts make the MultiPac LP405D DMX controlled dimmer pack extremely safe to operate. The unit is tested and certified to comply with all major safety regulations, environmental protection requirements and electromagnetic emission demands.
