Out Board and TiMax at Frankfurt

Out Board will feature the new TiMax2 SoundHub and TiMax Tracker at this year's Frankfurt Prolight+Sound Hall 8 Stand A01, in conjunction with Pro Audio Technik, the recently appointed TiMax distributor for Germany.

Available now, the TiMax2 SoundHub-R systems integrator version is optimised for mainstream AV and live performance installations needing comprehensive audio processing, playback, networking and remote control. It has the following versatile features: full mixing and delay-matrixing from 16x16 up to 64x64 in 2U; EQ on all inputs and outputs, plus additional delay on outputs; 32 freely assignable virtual VCA Groups; live cross-fade Presets between I/O mixes; level/delay routings, EQ; Level/delay Routing library, can be controlled by TiMax Tracker; presets assignable to selected channels and parameters; 16 up to 64 track audio playback triggered by presets; input submixing, between Analogue (or AES3) Input / Playback Track / Network input; Cobranet, MADI or Ethersound networking options; presets triggered by GPIO, MIDI and IP ports.

TiMax2 SoundHub-S audio showcontrol version (available Summer 2009) is specially tailored for real-time showcontrol and audio animation in live shows and events. Includes all the -R features above plus advanced multiple playlists, dynamic delay panning, full sound effects editing plus multitrack audio recording for show and rehearsal archiving.

Also demonstrated at Messe is the revolutionary new TiMax Tracker, which uses UWB radar tracking technology to make performers' audio and other effects automatically follow their position onstage in 3D space. The system has already featured on numerous opera and theatre shows and made initial sales into Europe and the USA.
