Ateis International Expands Distributor Network

Public address, voice alarm and commercial audio specialist Ateis International has announced several new distributor appointments and a positive reception for new products launched at ProLight + Sound I n Frankfurt.
Audio reproduction systems for public address and voice alarm installations is a key area for Ateis and three important product introductions have been made in this market so far this year. The UAP G2 is a new stackable, fully programmable digital audio processor, while the next generation of the acclaimed Messenger steerable column array also made its debut at Frankfurt. The Messenger G2 is the result of a re-design and extensive engineering work to create a new standard in modern PA/VA, commercial and professional audio systems. It delivers broadcast S/N ratio and pro-sound power handling, combined with more advanced pre-processing features and ‘remote access' networking. The Messenger G2 is also fully compliant with the new EN-54 standards.
Ateis' voice evacuation range has been further enhanced by the addition of the LCS70T tunnel speaker, a typical exponential horn designed for use in environments with restricted ceiling heights. Made from reinforced fibre and equipped with a powerful 2" compression driver, which produces an SPL of 117dB, the LCS70T is ideal for road and rail tunnels and underground rail networks.
These new products were displayed alongside Ateis' established range of voice alarm systems, headed by the DIVA8M alarm technology and networking range.
Playing host to both existing and new customers, Ateis appointed several new distributors in territories including Greece, Turkey and Russia. To highlight its awareness of current industry standards, EN51-16 and STIPA measurement among them, Ateis staged a lottery on the stand for distributors, with the prize being a NTI acoustical measurement tool.
International sales manager, Albert van der Hout commented: "This year's ProLight+Sound show was really positive for Ateis. We were busy for the whole show and we notciced a huge increase in interest from serious buyers working on serious projects with serious budgets. As our presence continues to grow on a global scale, we're being considered as a major player with a unique product portfolio that meets the demands for advanced integrated systems."
