Bloc Party the Bandit Way

Lighting designer Jonathan ‘Leggy" Armstrong cranked up the US leg of British Indie rockers Bloc Party and asked Bandit Lites to come on board as their lighting supplier. Formed in 1999, the band has spent the last ten years gaining tremendous fame and accolades on a worldwide basis and is now performing a sold out US tour on the back of their latest album, Intimacy.
Leggy and tour manager Andy James worked with Bandit client rep Brent Barrett to produce one of the most outstanding and artistic show seen in quite some time. Leggy's use of a "layer of lights" in the rear as described by Barrett provides visual effects never seen before. Bandit purchased I-Pix BB7's to meet Leggy's needs and these are the first and only BB7's in the US. The look and effect from these lights is completely amazing and Bandit sees a lot more work with them in the future. The tour also uses Studio Beams, PARs, Source 4's, PixiLines, strobes, 4-lites and Hog 3 consoles.
