Cadac's Spectacular Show at Prolight + Sound 2009
Cadac Holdings Limited is demonstrating a new-look product line-up on Stand No: 31 in Hall 8 at Prolight + Sound 2009, broadening the traditional Cadac range with a number of innovative, high quality introductions. The Live1 Series represents the first of three new compact analogue console concepts, providing the hallmark Cadac quality within a fully-specified budget console. Also on show is the new Cadac LiveWire 32/8 digital multi-core stagebox and breakout system, alongside the first production unit from the Cadac Classic 19" rack-mount series of mic pre-amps, equalisers and effects units, which are based on the audio circuitry from Cadac's heritage products. The production version of the S-Digital audio mixing console takes centre stage, as Cadac gears up to ship the first desks to customers around the world.
Since becoming part of the Soundking Group Company Limited in January, Cadac has benefited from considerable investment, reflected in the products making their debut at Prolight + Sound. General manager Bob Thomas comments: "We are already seeing the first results of Soundking's investment in the company, with the objective of bringing Cadac to a significantly wider audience in the future. The Live1 Series reflects that focus, creating a compact console range that delivers in terms of functionality, quality and competitive pricing. The production versions of the S-Digital console, as well as the Cadac Classic ME2, have also benefited considerably from Soundking's involvement, enabling us to move rapidly towards production status. Cadac's future as an outstanding UK-based audio brand is guaranteed, and we are already ramping up both R&D and production capacity here in the UK to meet a substantial forward order book and exciting product development strategy."
